This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded Conveyancing team in either Manchester. You will work alongside leading professionals in the field, handling a varied caseload and delivering exceptional client service.The Role:As a Conveyancing Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload while ensuring a seamless transaction process for clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing expert legal advice to clients while maintaining clear and professional communication.
* Handling a full range of property transactions from instruction through to completion.
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Addressing complex legal queries, conducting thorough research, and mitigating risks.
* Managing caseloads efficiently, meeting personal targets, and ensuring deadlines are met.
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules.
* Accurately managing financial aspects, including billing and fund transfers upon completion.
* Liaising proactively with solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers, and local authorities.
* Supervising and mentoring paralegals, fostering a high-performance team environment.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, introducers, and third parties.
* Utilising conveyancing technology to enhance efficiency and client service.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
* Minimum of 3+ years' experience handling a varied caseload of property transactions.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in research and document drafting.
* Strong knowledge of property law and experience dealing with complex titles.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to legal matters.
* A team player who is self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
* Commercial awareness and an understanding of industry developments.
* Experience with case management systems such as ProClaim or Redbrick is advantageous.
* Familiarity with investor purchases and portfolio mortgages, particularly where lenders are separately represented.
