Senior / Lead Electrical Engineer required for a recycling / sustainable manufacturing plant in Kent. Part of an international group offering excellent career prospects. Reporting to the site Engineering Manager, the Lead Electrical Engineer will manage the Electrical Engineering department, which includes the Senior Controls Engineer, System Controls Technician, E&I Supervisor, E&I Techs (3), and E&I Apprentices (1).
Lead Electrical Engineer Requirements:
1. Responsible for the management and functionality of the Electrical Engineering aspect of the engineering department structure, focusing predominantly on reliability and preventative maintenance.
2. Responsible for all electrical, instrumentation, and process control maintenance activities associated with the site, including the paper machine, winder, stock prep plant, effluent treatment areas, and all site services.
3. This is a senior maintenance position that requires responding to breakdowns affecting plant safety, environmental release, or plant performance, and the individual must work quickly towards resolving any immediate problems.
4. To have professional accreditation at a minimum IEng level and working towards or achieved CEng.
5. A competent Electrical Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, or working towards an Electrical Degree or equivalent.
