The role as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: Maintain and ensure the smooth operation of mechanical systems, plant, and equipment onsite, with a primary focus on the Paint System and Punch and Press Machines. Carry out routine mechanical maintenance work and respond to mechanical faults or breakdowns promptly, especially for the Paint System and Punch and Press Machines. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and faults on the Paint System and Punch and Press Machines, ensuring timely resolution. Conduct mechanical inspections on key plant equipment, including the Paint System and Punch and Press Machines, to ensure safe and efficient operation. Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative mechanical maintenance program for both production equipment and general facilities mechanical systems. Carry out preventative mechanical maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of key equipment. To be successful in this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers role you will need: Good written and verbal communication Electrical engineering background. Knowledge and use of handheld power tools. Reading and understanding technical 2D drawings. Attentive to detail. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities The package on offer in this Maintenance Engineers role: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm Early finish on a Friday 7am – 1pm Basic salary of £40,000 Paid call outs Discretionary Company Sick Pay, following 6 months service.
