Cafe Customer Assistant
Working Hours:
Sunday: 10:15 - 16:15
Tuesday: 09:45 - 17:00
Saturday: 10:00 - 18:00
Due to the nature of this role, which includes operating machinery, we cannot accept applications from anyone under the age of 18.
Purpose:
* To deliver a great shopping experience for customers, prioritizing customer needs above tasks.

* Serve customers efficiently and effectively on the shop floor and at service points.
* Deliver ‘best in town’ standards through presentation, availability, and cleanliness.
* Utilize all digital tools and communication channels effectively.
* Share feedback from customers and colleagues to enhance our services.
* Support colleagues in building skills and confidence.
* Own personal learning and development; access digital learning solutions proactively.
* Know daily sales targets, priorities, promotions, and selling opportunities.
* Possess great product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services.
* Engage proactively with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations.
* Understand store priorities and their role in achieving them.
* Complete tasks efficiently in line with SOPs.
* Minimize cost and waste through effective processes.
* Follow safe and legal working practices.

* Demonstrate good digital capabilities and use of digital tools.
* Understand customer needs and identify selling opportunities.
* Adapt to change effectively.
* Have a good knowledge of VM principles.
