Cleveland Clinic London is looking to recruit a Staffing Office Clerk to join our Nursing Staffing Office. This is a full time, permanent position and would require the post holder to work up to 37.5 hours per week. This is a Monday - Sunday role working either 7.5 hour or 12 hour shifts, with the office open 0630 - 2100, based at our main hospital. The maximum salary on offer for this opportunity would be £32,960 and would be dependent upon experience and competencies against the role requirements. What makes us different? The Nursing Staffing Office supports nursing operations by flexing nursing staff according to census levels based on patient acuity, allocating bank and agency staff, submitting daily staff reports, and comparing daily staffing levels to benchmarks. The office will also provide timekeeping services for nursing staff through review and reconciliation of timecards in Kronos to ensure accordance with CCL time and attendance policies. What will your duties include? Works directly with management of assigned units to produce consistent staffing levels that schedule appropriate number of staff to meet operational needs. Proactively seeks coverage for shifts and special circumstances. Consistently informs management of future and or immediate staffing shortages for any given shift or circumstance. Facilitates scheduling of bank staff and agency staff to maintain operations for the assigned units. Completes appropriate and adequate documentation by utilising computer for master schedule, time changes, and log books for staff call-ins. What we need from you: GCSE or equivalent, inclusive of English and Mathematics Ability to speak and write in English is required Experience utilising automated systems (experience with Kronos preferred) Prior staffing/scheduling skills desirable A Bachelor Degree in information technology or related field may substitute for work experience What can we offer you?
