Hyde Coatings Ltd is currently recruiting an Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer based at one of our bespoke treatment facilities in Stalybridge on a day shift. As an Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for carrying out the application of various paints to a range of aerospace products whilst maintaining the general cleanliness and safety within the building and supporting other areas of the business when required.
Duties include but are not limited to;
1. Using paints on a stock rotation
2. Application of polyurethane, epoxy, dry lubrication, abrasion resistant paints, lacquers
3. Thickness Testing
4. Paperwork
5. Viscosity testing
6. Paint mixing
7. Equipment maintenance
8. Working to technique sheets for various customer specifications
9. Spraying to thickness requirements
10. Daily checks of equipment and booths
11. Booth maintenance, filter changes and routine cleaning
12. Section cleanliness, bins etc
13. Working closely with the inspection department regarding opportunities for improvement
14. Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and reforecasting
Essential Skills
15. Application of paint products in an Aerospace/Automotive environment
Desired Skills;
16. Any previous aerospace paint application knowledge would be beneficial. Good communication and planning skills.
Experience required;
17. Minimum of 2 years in a paint application environment
