Support Worker (Supported Living) We are currently recruiting for a full time (37.5 hours) Support Worker at our service St Barnabas Court, Hemel Hempstead Hertfordshire. The role is based in Hemel Hempstead with some travel to locations in St Albans. St Barnabas provides supported living homes for people with learning disabilities. We have 8 supported living homes for people with 24-hour support on site provided. We also provide outreach support for people with learning disabilities in the community. The care support roles on site do not provide personal care and our aim is to provide personalised support to people living in their own homes to help them on their journey towards independence and to help them meet their full potential. As a Support Worker you will be empowering our service users to lead the life they want and you`ll support them to go out for walks, going by car on day trips, to the cinema and bowling. You`ll join a supportive team with a `can do` attitude who engage with our residents to find new things for the service users to join in with whether it`s arts and crafts, cooking or a Friday night disco. As part of the role you will be required to provide personal care and support with eating and drinking. You will need to work shifts and hold a full UK driving licence.
