Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for global leader in products for the architectural, automotive and technical FMCG sector. With thousands employees, the Group operates in 30 countries. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for mechanical and electrical breakdown repairs on processing plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
*Conduct fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown situations. *Perform planned preventative maintenance to maximise plant reliability. *Undertake planned and emergency repairs safely and promptly, recording work using SAP. *Develop Risk Assessment and Method Statements for engineering activities. *Collaborate with contractors during planned maintenance. *Manage stock levels of machinery spares and consumables.
Working Hours for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: Days only working 37.5 hours per week, 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility required.
Qualifications as Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: *Recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering. *Experience in electrical maintenance within a processing or manufacturing environment is desirable (but not essential) *Familiarity with H&S systems/SAP or other CMMS systems is a plus, with training provided. *Flexible approach to working hours to meet business needs. *Strong written and verbal communication skills.
