Job summary We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated registered general and child branch Nurses/Midwives with at least 1 year post graduation who wish to further develop their knowledge and skills in the speciality of neonatal care. The successful applicant will play a vital role in delivering high quality safe and efficient care to sick and preterm new born babies nursed on the postnatal ward beside their mother. You will support parents in the care of their baby. You will have supervised time within the Special Care Baby Unit to gain the experience you need to care for the babies and you will work through the competencies required for this role. We can offer you the opportunity to undertake the Neonatal Foundation course and also the Neonatal Intensive care course Experience of neonatal care would prove beneficial but is not essential.
