We have an opportunity for a Communications Professional to join our Marketing and Business Development team.
This role can be based in one of our London, Jersey or Guernsey offices.
Principal duties:
Press
Drafting clear, accurate and well-written copy for our external communications
Building a pipeline of press opportunities and placing content in priority legal publications
Distributing press releases to regional, international and trade media
Reviewing and updating our media distribution lists
Monitoring media coverage for all press releases
Managing forward features calendars for each of our practice groups

Creating engaging content using a mix of mediums
Researching hot topics and implementing new ideas to enhance our engagement and following
Managing new post ideas from conception to completion and measuring impact thereafter
Supporting our lawyers to use social media effectively and build their personal brand
Managing feedback and data to inform our social media strategy
Working alongside the wider M&BD team and our brand agency to deliver timely, interesting content
Producing and distributing a monthly engagement report
Internal Communications
Drafting regular short articles for our intranet, highlighting important information and employee successes
Creating and distributing internal communications campaigns e.g. projects, promotions, CSR events, firm news
Managing set-up and content for an ongoing series of partner-led internal webinars
General
Leading on a variety of admin tasks as required
Maintaining our Communications Calendar
Assisting with the effective use of third-party content distribution platforms
Experience
2+ years in a similar role within a law firm or other professional services business.
Experience in leading communications projects alongside senior stakeholders preferred.
Professional LinkedIn experience would be a strong advantage.
Professional qualifications
Graduate level (2:1 or above) preferred.
