Job Title: Senior Data Insights Manager

Salary: £55,000-£65,000, depending on experiences plus bonus scheme
What you’ll be doing:
1. Overseeing the delivery of a range of data visualisation and analytics projects in the early stages of development, including but not exclusively requirements capture, design and prototyping technical solutions.
2. Providing technical and consultative support to Data Analysts in developing analytical solutions.
3. Leading stakeholder engagement activities to understand business questions in order to turn these into data analytics solutions.
4. Providing thought leadership to support the development of new data insights and guiding Digital Intelligence stakeholders to drive maximum value from their data.
5. Building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders within Digital Intelligence, as well as across BAE Systems, to drive successful delivery of analytics projects.
6. Ensuring that technical assurance is provided to all data analysis projects.
7. Instilling a culture of continuous improvement and playing a key role in developing the team.
8. Ensuring data analytics projects are delivered to time, cost and quality.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
1. Advanced experience of Tableau and Alteryx toolsets or other similar analytics toolsets.
2. Knowledge of the data landscape within business organisations and understanding of how data sets may interact.
3. Ability to summarise, present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for all users.
4. Consultative skills to effectively capture data requirements.
5. Impactful communication skills (oral, written and presentation) in both formal and informal settings, articulating complex ideas to broad audiences.
6. Proactive strong problem solver with an analytical mindset, inquisitive and methodical.
Desirable:
1. Relevant numerate or IT degree, experience in consultancy or people management position.
