3D Inventor Design Draughtsperson – Mechanical Engineering\n\n Location: Newcastle | Permanent | Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits\n\n We are working on behalf of a well-established and innovative engineering organisation seeking to appoint a skilled 3D Inventor Design Draughtsperson to join their Mechanical Engineering team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in both collaborative and independent working environments.\n\n In this role, you will play a key part in the design and development of complex mechanical systems. Working closely with engineers and project teams, you will contribute to the delivery of technically robust and industry-compliant solutions, particularly within subsea technologies and cable lay equipment.\n Key Responsibilities:\n \nCollaborate with engineers to produce detailed design drawings and specifications.
\nEnsure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. \nProvide technical support and guidance to the wider project team. \nManage individual tasks independently, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
Candidate Requirements:\n \nProven experience as a Design Draughtsperson within the mechanical engineering sector. \nProficiency in Autodesk CAD software, particularly Inventor and AutoCAD. \nExperience with Teamcenter PLM is advantageous.
\nStrong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices. \nAbility to work both collaboratively within a team and independently. \nExcellent communication and organisational skills.
\nPrior knowledge of subsea technologies or cable lay equipment is highly beneficial.
