As an Experienced Fire Door Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire doors across various projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all installations comply with fire safety regulations and contribute to the overall safety of buildings. You will work closely with site teams and other professionals to deliver high-quality, compliant installations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install fire doors and associated hardware in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and fire safety regulations.
* Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to ensure all fire doors meet the required standards.
* Ensure all work complies with FIRAS certification requirements and is documented accurately.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to carry out precise installations.
* Perform maintenance and repair work on existing fire doors to ensure ongoing compliance.
* Collaborate with site managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
* Provide expert advice on fire door installation and compliance to meet project-specific requirements.
Requirements:
* FIRAS Certification
* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fire door installation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fire door systems, installation techniques, and relevant fire safety regulations.
* Compliance: Thorough knowledge of the latest fire safety standards and regulations.
* Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with exceptional attention to detail and precision.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
* Health & Safety: Commitment to upholding the highest standards of health and safety on site.
