Private Client Locum (Wills & Probate) Hourly Rate: Circa £30-£50 per hour (Depending on Experience) Location: Horley, Surrey Job Type: Part Time Temporary Locum Support (2-3 days a week) - Ongoing We are seeking an experienced Private Client Locum to join a team in Horley, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Wills & Probate, providing expert legal advice and support to our clients. Day-to-day of the role: Drafting Wills: Prepare and draft wills tailored to clients' individual needs and circumstances. Probate Administration: Manage the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration. Client Consultations: Conduct client consultations to understand their needs and provide appropriate legal advice. Legal Documentation: Prepare and review legal documents related to wills, probate, and estate planning. Compliance: Ensure all work complies with current legislation and regulatory requirements. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and case progress. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualifications: Qualified solicitor or legal executive with fee-earning experience in Wills & Probate. Experience: Proven track record in private client work, particularly in wills, probate, and estate planning. Skills: Excellent drafting, communication, and client management skills. Knowledge: Strong understanding of inheritance tax, trusts, and estate administration. Flexibility: Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload. Availability: Immediate availability for a temporary/contract role.
