Trust Senior IT Technician

Mowbray Education Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Technician to join the IT team. You will work alongside the Trust IT Services Manager and IT Technicians to ensure the smooth running of the technical IT service across all schools within the Trust.
This role is permanent, working 37 hours a week, Monday – Thursday (8:00am – 4:00pm) and Friday (8:00am – 3:30pm). The role will be working all year round (52 weeks per year) and will be based at Iveshead School, Shepshed, Loughborough, LE12 9DB.
Role
The role of Trust Senior IT Technician will involve working across several different areas including (Not an exhaustive list):
• Management and senior IT point of contact for Iveshead Schools on and off premise systems
• Providing service desk support to users and stakeholders at Iveshead School and across the wider Trust
• Monitoring, diagnosing, repairing and recording the breakdown of hardware and software, escalating issues to the Trust IT Services Manager where necessary.
• Organising, implementing, and delivering maintenance work during shutdown periods
