Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annum

Responsibilities:
1. Working with the Resuscitation Officer as a member of the resuscitation education team.
2. Development of the Resuscitation Skills Lab as an education resource providing a safe and effective learning environment.
3. Delivery of multi-disciplinary resuscitation education for Trust staff and learners on placement.
4. Development and evaluation of resuscitation skills education programmes.
5. Development of multimedia technology-based education resources.
6. Development of simulation facilities and courses related to resuscitation.
7. Conducting research and audit for resuscitation skills education.
8. Line management of identified junior staff within the department.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the planning, development, delivery and assessment of specialised resuscitation skills education programmes and assessments within simulation for learners and Trust employees.
2. Set up and maintain equipment for teaching sessions as required.
3. Assist with the planning, organisation, and scheduling of accredited resuscitation courses for relevant clinical staff and learners on placement within the Trust.
4. Maintain a professional attitude at all times, developing the role of the Resuscitation Skills Facilitator in the best interests of the patient and profession in accordance with their relevant professional body e.g. Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)/ Health and Care Professions Council – Code of Conduct.
5. Assist with the development and implementation of a strategy and associated teaching and assessment resources for resuscitation education within the Trust.
