Electrical EstimatorAbout the Company:The company are a well-established and highly respected Electrical Building Services contractor based near Sawbridgeworth. With decades of experience, they specialise in delivering high-quality electrical services for commercial and office fit-out projects, with project values ranging from £50k to £3m.As part of their continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction team.The Role:As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide variety of electrical projects. You'll work closely with project managers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure bids are professionally presented, cost-effective, and aligned with client requirements.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for electrical projects ranging from £50k to £3mAnalyse project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine the full scope of worksIdentify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering optionsLiaise with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather essential informationSource and assess quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricingMaintain and update an internal database of historical project data and cost estimatesSupport the preparation of bid submissions and client proposalsElectrical Estimator - Desirable experience and skills:Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services or Electrical Contracting sectorStrong understanding of electrical systems and installation processesProficient in estimation software, Microsoft Excel, and reading technical drawingsExcellent analytical and communication skillsHighly organised and detail-orientedLocated within a commutable distance of SawbridgeworthWhats on Offer:Competitive base salary: £55,000 £75,000 (depending on experience)Annual performance bonusPrivate healthcarePension scheme optionsCompany events and team socialsCompany laptop and mobile phoneOngoing training and development opportunitiesSupportive and rewarding work environmentGenuine opportunities for career progressionHow to Apply:If you're an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for a new challenge within a well-established and growing business, please apply online or contact Rob Green at David Leslie Ltd for a confidential chat.Electrical EstimatorSenior Electrical EstimatorTPBN1_UKTJ
