Bagnalls is a highly regarded, family-owned professional painting contractor celebrating 150 years in business in 2025. With 650 staff across 14 UK branches, we deliver high-value commercial and decorative painting projects for a variety of customers including blue-chip companies, prestigious universities, and historic buildings. We pride ourselves on our core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect and People, and we are looking for a Compliance Administrator to play a pivotal role in supporting our national branches.
Key Responsibilities:
Accreditations Management : Maintain external accreditations such as CHAS, Safecontractor, Constructionline, and ISO standards. Coordinate audits, implement procedural changes, and ensure corrective actions are completed to stakeholder satisfaction.
Specialist Accreditations : Manage and maintain information for specialist accreditations (e.g., Achilles, RSSB) for Utilities and Rail, including annual audits and corrective actions.
Business Improvement : Support the Senior Leadership team in driving best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement across the Group.
Sustainability : Compile utility and fuel data, support carbon emissions reporting, and contribute to policy development to meet external market factors such as Modern Slavery.
HR and Training : Maintain and audit training and personnel records to ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Rail Compliance : Assist branches with maintaining compliance related to working on railways, including qualifications, safety tests, and data management on the Rail Sentinel platform.
IT and Administration : Utilise Microsoft Office and bespoke systems to maintain records and support accreditation-related tasks.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience working with ISO standards or relevant construction accreditations
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple compliance areas and deadlines
Willingness to travel and engage with various branches
Full UK drivers license

Competitive salary between £28,000 - £31,000 dependant on experience, l ife assurance, 8% contributory company pension scheme also included.
Hours: Full time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday, Part time hours will be considered if required.
This role is based at our new Head Office complex in Cleckheaton with excellent motorway links, onsite parking and onsite Gym.
