What we expect We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing HS2 division, based in our Aldgate offices in London, reporting to the Senior Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager and other Project Managers in all required project management functions. As an Assistant Project Manager, your day to day will include: Ensure compliance with Health and Safety rules and guidelines across the region Support the Senior Project Manager and Project Managers on specific project functions There will be multiple projects and workstreams to work on at a given time Liaise and coordinate with the rest of the team and follow up on project matters Collecting and reporting project progress Attending internal and external meetings and preparing/issuing minutes of meeting Maintaining and follow up on a list of open items for the project Perform administrative project management tasks including preparing documents, letters, and others Support the project managers/Sr. Project Managers in following up on open tasks Understanding and coordinating the interfaces in the project Ensure all works follow the appropriate company working practices Travel to different sites including West London and Birmingham Who we are looking for? 2-3 years experience in project management support and/or project coordination roles within the construction industry BSc degree ideal Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to use your initiative and work well with others Positive attitude and receptive to change Extremely organised Superior customer-care skills The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development An advocate for H&S regulations in the workplace Comfortable with multi-tasking and working on several projects at a time What we offer Competitive salary paid on a monthly basis 34 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays Attractive company pension scheme Health cash plan provided, allows you to claim towards health costs.
