A growing team of service engineers is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to support the maintenance needs of commercial clients across the Glasgow and Edinburgh area. The ideal candidate will hold both Commercial Gas and FGas qualifications/certifications. This is a fully mobile role requiring a full UK driving license. About the Role The role involves attending client sites to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective service delivery. You'll be joining a nationwide team supported by a head office team, offering services across the full spectrum of Hard FM for large commercial clients. Flexibility is required for early starts, late finishes, and occasional night work On Call: 24-hour on-call rota (maximum one week in four, Friday–Thursday) Key Requirements Essential: Experience in FM industry maintenance for commercial properties Gas Safe qualifications across all commercial/industrial equipment: CPA1, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, COMCAT1-5 Oil-Fired Heater (Oftec) certification and LPG certification Experience with air conditioning/refrigeration (VRVs, VRFs, splits, chillers) FGas Cat 1 and NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Knowledge of building regulations and HVAC systems Basic plumbing and building material knowledge Full UK driving license Asbestos Awareness certification Desirable: CSCS card IPAF and PASMA certifications Part P Electrical certificate Responsibilities Conducting maintenance, installation, commissioning, and repair of commercial gas, oil heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems Ensuring compliance with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules Providing accurate timesheets and technical reports Participating in a 24-hour call-out rota Supporting contract teams in meeting SLAs and maintaining client relationships Assisting with quotations and escalation of major issues Interested?
