The Client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and National plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who have been established for over 50 years, has reached a stage of growth where they are looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background to the team. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside relative internal progression routes.
The Package:
1. 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall)
2. All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x (£21-£24 per hour)
3. A minimum of 5 hours of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours)
4. Min (5 hours): Additional £5,460pa / Average (17 hours): Additional £18,564pa
5. Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an addition 5 days annual leave per annum
6. Laptop, Company Vehicle & Fuel Card
7. Full training & development with a focus on internal progression, route is as follows: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager)

The Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential)
2. Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
3. Experience working on engines would be advantageous
4. Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
5. A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own
6. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
7. Full UK Drivers License
Responsibilities:
1. Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
2. Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
3. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
4. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
5. Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
