At Talking Therapies Barking and Dagenham (TTBD), we are looking for a dedicated individual to take on a pivotal role in managing and delivering group-based interventions. You will be an integral part of a multi-professional team committed to expanding access to Group Therapy for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and other common mental health conditions. At TTBD, we are at the forefront of this transformation, offering Group Therapy with the stepped care model.
Alongside group therapy, you will be required to offer individual therapy and conduct telephone/face-to-face assessments as part of your caseload. Having sound knowledge of disorder specific CBT interventions is essential. You will be expected to work autonomously and operate within the service’s business hours(8am-8pm) by offering a minimum of one evening per week. Therefore, flexibility regarding working hours is important.
TTBD actively encourages a team approach, and commitment to the team’s shared values and ethos must be demonstrated through regular attendance of team meetings, supervision and operating within the service’s local policies and procedures.

· Training in NICE compliant interventions for depression and anxiety disorders
· Regular clinical supervision, case/line management meetings and access to triage assessment supervision

Startingwith NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High Cost Area Supplement – London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary with a minimum payment of £4,552 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum (pro rata for part-time).
