Main duties of the job The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will act autonomously within their professional scope of practice providing acute care for patients via face to face and telephone consultations. The ANP will need to provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care, making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. They will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process and will work collaboratively with the practice team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of policies and procedures. About us Channel View Medical Group provides excellent patient centred medical services to our 17,500 patients over four sites in the beautiful coastal town of Teignmouth and on the edge of Dartmoor.
