We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor join our clients large hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of people who maintain cleanliness and organization within this 80+ room hotel ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. More than that though this venue are keen to offer guests memorable experiences so you’ll be checking the reservations and adding special touches, providing direction and support to your team. This is a full time, permanent position offering 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
-Supervision of a team who perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
-Changing linen
-Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
-Notify management of any damages or repairs needed
-Assist guests with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
-Adhere to health and safety protocol.
Qualifications:
-Experience as a housekeeping staff
-Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and methods
-Brilliant customer service skills
-Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
-Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professional conduct
-High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
-Coordinate with fellow staff
