We're looking for a This role is Remote, United Kingdom The Senior Tax Advisor will be responsible for supporting tax compliance, planning, and reporting for the EMEA region. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders, external advisors, internal tax teammates and tax authorities to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise in EMEA tax matters, excellent communication skills and an ability to prioritize and thrive in a collaborative environment. In this role you will Tax Compliance Support the preparation and filing of all EMEA tax returns – including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other indirect taxes. Ensure timely and accurate compliance (including tax payments) with all local tax laws and regulations across the EMEA region. Coordinate with external tax advisors and service providers to support compliance efforts and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Remain updated on tax laws and share updates with relevant stakeholders. Transfer Pricing Oversee the implementation of the Group’s transfer pricing policies in the EMEA region via quarterly calculations and ensure outcomes are in line with the envisaged transfer pricing strategy. Work closely with cross-functional and statutory teams to ensure adherence to transfer pricing guidelines and support transfer pricing audits. Tax Reporting and Analysis Prepare and review tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting purposes in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP requirements. Ensure accurate and timely preparing and reporting of quarterly and year end reconciliations, including direct and indirect tax account reconciliations Analyze tax data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize tax efficiency. Tax Risk Management Provide support on tax audits and inquiries from EMEA tax authorities including information gathering, preparation of responses and resolution of issues. Proactively address potential tax risks, controversies and implement risk, assessment, and control framework to actively mitigate regional risks and exposure. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with finance, legal, sales and operational teams to provide tax guidance and support for various initiatives, projects, and transactions. Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on tax matters affecting business operations in the EMEA region. You Have What It Takes If You Have Professional certification – ACA, CA, ACCA, CPA or CTA preferred. 4 years of experience in tax compliance, planning and consulting. Strong knowledge of EMEA tax laws and regulations across direct taxes, indirect taxes, and transfer pricing. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and apply them to business operations. Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in all aspects of tax compliance and reporting. Proficient with Excel, other MS Office applications and OneSource tax technology.
