Job Description
Our client is a leading functional fitness equipment specialist, with strong roots in the CrossFit, HYROX, SGPT and Kettlebell community.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and self-motivated finance / accountancy professional to work closely with the Managing Director and senior team to develop the existing finance function with the aim of bringing outsourced processes in-house, instilling best practices and introducing robust standards and reporting processes.
Role Responsibilities
* Oversee current finance team and assist developing the financial reporting
* Manage and support an accounts assistant
* Monitor and manage short term cash flow
* Month end nominal ledger adjustments and reconciliations
* Support with credit control and collection of debts on a timely basis
* Preparing monthly management information
* Managing and developing the team. Helping to set roles and responsibilities

You will be an experienced finance professional looking for greater responsibility and the opportunity to take on a new challenge with energy and determination. You will champion best financial practices and be willing to develop/mentor a team around you when the time is right for the business.

* Professional qualification
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
* Desire to continue to learn and develop in the role
* Available to work full time at the company premises in Telford
* Willing to work with the management team
* Proven experience in financial management, preferably within a similar role or industry.
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, enabling effective decision-making based on data-driven insights.

* Experience using Brightpearl
* Experience of e-commerce sector
