Role Purpose
The B2B Demand Generation Specialist, will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of Iceotope by generating high-quality leads and creating demand for our products and services within the business-to-business (B2B) market. Their primary responsibility will be to develop and execute effective demand generation strategies to identify and engage potential customers, nurture leads, and drive conversions. They will work closely with marketing, sales, product teams, agencies, and partners to optimize lead generation efforts and contribute to revenue growth. The Specialist will also provide sales enablement support and ensure consistency of brand voice and style across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement B2B demand generation strategies: Research, plan, and execute targeted demand generation campaigns across various channels (events, email marketing, content marketing, video, social media, SEO, PPC, etc.) to generate leads and create awareness of our products or services within the B2B market.
* Lead generation and qualification: Identify target market segments and buyer personas and develop comprehensive lead generation strategies to attract and capture potential customers. Implement lead nurturing programs to engage and qualify leads for the sales team.
* Content creation and optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content (e.g., whitepapers, case studies, webinars, blog posts) that aligns with buyer personas and effectively addresses their pain points and needs. Optimize content for lead generation and SEO purposes.
* Campaign tracking and analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of demand generation campaigns, including lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI. Utilize data and analytics to identify areas of improvement and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance campaign effectiveness.
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, product teams, and partners to align demand generation strategies with overall business objectives. Provide feedback and insights to improve product positioning, messaging, and campaign targeting.
* Marketing automation and lead nurturing: Utilize marketing automation tools to design and execute lead nurturing workflows, including email campaigns, content distribution, and personalized messaging. Continuously optimize lead scoring and qualification processes.
* Market research and competitive analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and ensure our demand generation efforts remain innovative and competitive.
* Reporting and communication: Generate regular reports on demand generation activities, campaign performance, and lead conversion rates. Present findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership teams.
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
* Proven experience in B2B demand generation, preferably within the technology/hardware industry.
* Solid understanding of B2B marketing principles, lead generation techniques, and sales funnel optimization.
* Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Pardot is a plus) and CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus) to drive and track demand generation efforts.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse campaign data, draw insights, and implement data-driven optimizations.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to create persuasive and engaging content tailored to B2B audiences.
* Demonstrated experience with events, content marketing, video, SEO, email marketing, social media advertising, and other demand generation tactics.
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Self-motivated with a proactive mindset, able to work independently and take ownership of projects and initiatives.
