This Mental Health Assistant role is an ideal opportunity if you aspire to have a career focused on Counselling, Mental Health, Wellbeing, Criminal, Social or Youth Justice, or elements of social care.
This SEN school in Hatfield is looking for SEN Psychology and Criminology Graduates to provide first-class support to children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs, including ADHD, communication difficulties, Down syndrome, and some speech, language, and communication needs.
You will be working closely with the clinical team within the Hatfield school, allowing you to develop your skills through education and training.
What is required?
1. An Undergraduate Degree (preferable) and/or previous SEN experience, ideal for Criminology and Psychology Graduates
2. An interest in mental health and Autism
3. Knowledge, keen interest or understanding of the range of different types of learning and behavioral needs (SEMH elements of the provision)
4. Local commute to Hatfield
