We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations based upon the research findings. Description Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems. Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality. Filter and "clean" data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. Profile A successful Data Analyst should have: Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks). Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
