We are a successful independent firm of Chartered Accountants seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Payroll Assistant. As part of our payroll bureau, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients from various sectors and sizes, ensuring their payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised team player with excellent communication skills who has office administration experience. Your main role will include processing client payrolls, dealing with client’s payroll queries and administering client payrolls.
Responsibilities:
1. Accurately process payroll for a diverse range of clients within different sectors and of varying sizes.
2. Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation, including tax and pension regulations.
3. Handle payroll queries from clients and provide exceptional customer service.
4. Maintain and update payroll records and confidential employee information.
5. Generate various payroll reports as required by clients.
6. Work closely with the accountancy team to ensure seamless integration of financial data.
Skills:
1. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
2. Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
3. Ability to manage a diverse workload and meet strict deadlines.
