Technical Sales Manager – Building Envelope Solutions - Full-time Field-Based Role (must live in Manchester region) - Manchester & Surrounding Areas - Sales Key Account Management About the Company: Our client is a market leader in sustainable construction solutions, specialising in airtight and windtight building envelopes. They are committed to improving energy efficiency within the built environment by providing high-performance products that reduce energy consumption. The Role: As a Technical Sales Manager, you will play a key role in engaging with main contractors, sub-contractors, building envelope consultants, and architects across the Manchester area. Your focus will be on façade solutions, supporting window and SFS manufacturers or installers to drive project specifications and secure new business opportunities. Your Responsibilities Will Include: ? Identifying new projects and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders. ? Providing CPDs, technical consultations, and on-site product training. ? Advising customers on product specifications and applications. ? Managing sales activities within your designated region to drive business growth. What We're Looking For: We are looking for candidates with one of the following backgrounds: - Construction-related degree (e.g. Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar) plus at least 5 years of experience in the industry. - Extensive industry experience (8 years) in roles such as façade specialist, project manager (SFS/curtain walling/windows), or building envelope specialist, without a formal degree. Additional requirements: ? Ability to read and interpret design plans. ? Strong network within the construction industry, particularly with main contractors, consultants, and trade associations (CWCT, Passive House). ? Confident in delivering presentations and training sessions. ? Proficient in Microsoft Office & PowerPoint. ? Willing to travel across the Manchester area (including some overnight stays).
