If so, this role is perfect for you An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic and innovative Occupational Health Technicians, to support the SHWB team with the delivery of an effective high quality Occupational Health and Wellbeing services to the staff here at MKUH. As an Occupational Health Technician, you will undertake a wide range of learned skills; this will be performed under the direct and indirect supervision of a suitably qualified Occupational Health Nurse (OHN). Knowledge and experience of Occupational Health is desirable for this role however full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in all aspects of a holistic wellbeing as this is an integral part of this role. The Occupational Health Technician has a breadth of knowledge and is able to provide holistic support to staff and clients utilising a biopsychosocial model. The Occupational Health Technician works independently and manages their own case load including conducting health assessments, screenings, and supporting the development and implementation of health policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of employees. Integral to this role is the ability to communicate effectively in a sensitive and compassionate manner, maintaining client confidentiality and escalate or refer to the registered professional effectively.
