About The Role At a Glance Contract Type: Permanent Location: Bracknell Salary Range: £11.44 - £12.21 per hour. Partnership Level: 10 Hours: Hours are on a 2 week rota Monday, Wednesday & Saturday 16:30-20:30 Sunday, Wednesday & Saturday 16:30-20:30. You will be based in West Warehouse As a Hospitality Assistant, you'll work in our Partner (employee) dining room providing food to our Partners. You'll take great pride in your food preparation and presentation standards and ensure the best possible catering experience. You'll also support with other catering related tasks, including stock replenishment, storage of deliveries, food preparation and pot wash. Key Responsibilities Working in a catering operation is fast-paced. Daily responsibilities will include: Work as a team to ensure a smooth catering service. Provide positive Partner interactions with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Follow procedures and instructions using the 'Health and Safety at Work Act' and 'Food Safety Act' when completing all relevant tasks. Ensure stock is stored away appropriately and replenished. Reduce food wastage by ensuring care and due diligence when rotating food stock. Act promptly and use your initiative to resolve any issues that arise in the operation. Maintain personal hygiene standards. Providing prompt service when working on a cashless till. Maintaining vending machines - cleaning and re-stocking. Essential Skills/experience You'll Need Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Previous catering experience. Worked in a forward thinking customer facing environment. Desirable Skills/experience You May Have Food Safety level 2 & 3. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
