An opportunity to join an established waste and recycling haulage business based in Flamstead, we are looking to recruit a full time (part time considered), permanent Transport Office Administrator to support the Managing Director and Transport Planners in the running of a large transport operation across Southern England. This is a varied role that requires a strong talented individual, who can multi-task, work under pressure with ease and maintain impeccable standards. Duties will include:- to give administration support to the Manager Director to give administration support to the Transport Planners reception duties processing of accident reports and liaising with insurance company assist with accreditation audits driver's holidays / sickness / training customer credit checks provide general office administration, secretarial and office support Route planning of fleet vehicles to provide office/holiday cover Required: Excellent IT skills - be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word excellent people skills / team player ability to work in a highly demanding and changeable environment forward thinking and able to anticipate needs of the Managing Director a robust character able to liaise with people at all levels with confidence strong organisational skills, time management and co-ordination flexible attitude to working hours be proactive with ability to work with minimum supervision Hours of work: 40 hours (to be discussed for a part time role) Previous experience of a similar role would be considered an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
