Bloomberg Electronic Trading Solutions (ETS) offers premier multi-asset trading venues, services, and workflows, including for Credit Default Swaps (CDS). As the Global CDS E-Trading Product Manager, you will develop solutions specifically for the global investor community by collaborating with key internal and external market participants to deliver market-leading trading solutions.
What’s the role?
The CDS E-Trading Product Manager will be responsible for increasing our footprint in the CDS E-Trading market. They will work hand-in-hand with Bloomberg Engineers to deliver market-leading workflows and execution tools and with regional sales teams to build liquidity for the CDS offering.
We’ll trust you to:
1. Drive the overall business strategy and product development for the CDS electronic trading business.
2. Communicate product vision, business plan, and development status with key internal stakeholders, senior management, and market participants.
3. Build tools that improve client workflows and increase trading efficiency.
4. Follow technology trends and developments in the electronic trading space to identify opportunities for business expansion.
5. Design and prioritize solutions, and project manage them to delivery and adoption.
6. Monitor, analyze, and solve for regulatory developments, ensuring that the business meets its regulatory obligations.
You’ll need to have:
1. 8+ years of experience in financial services, mainly within Fixed Income markets.
2. Strong understanding and knowledge of the CDS trading business and market structure, including CDS indices, single-names, and options.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment, drive innovation while delivering tangible results.
4. Ability to analyze competing platforms and make strategic decisions based on overall market trends.
5. Understanding of the current regulatory landscape and key regulatory obligations, across the major regulatory jurisdictions (US, UK, and EU).
6. Experience with FIX protocol.
We’d love to see:
1. Product Management experience in a D2C or D2D E-Trading business.
2. Strong understanding of technology architecture.
