* Strong educational background; a degree (Master's would be an advantage).
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an investment bank or financial institution.
* Strong Business Analyst skill set.
* Knowledge of Capital Markets products, such as Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, and Foreign Exchange.
* Experience with Murex and technical skills in SQL, Python, NoSQL databases, Java, or Big Data tools.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority.
* Strong interpersonal skills with good relationship building and engagement abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
* Define and document business requirements and functional specifications.
* Perform SQL queries to select datasets for analysis and comparison purposes.
* Contribute to solution design.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to confirm use cases, business logic, and field definitions.
* Develop test and migration plans and test cases; perform system testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and applicable dress rehearsal and migration validations.
* Collaborate with technology teams to remediate issues and successfully migrate the in-scope data to Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and validity, including automated reconciliations.
* Validate current state behavior and data sources.
