Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian with some general experience in acute work to join our team and contribute to the service provided to our gastroenterology medical patients. This is an exciting time to join the team as Oldham Hospital has recently opened a £28 million trauma and surgical facility. You will be working alongside the advanced clinical lead dietitian and will be responsible for managing an inpatient caseload of patients requiring Enteral, Parenteral and Oral Nutritional support. You will also undertake outpatient clinics. Experience in parenteral nutrition is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Main duties of the job Provision of the dietetic service to gastroenterology wards. Undertake a post op outpatient clinics either virtually or face to face. Attendance at MDT meetings as required Contribute to the delivery of gastroenterology education within dietetic student training and to provide peer support Contributing to the service provided to patients receiving parenteral nutrition across the hospital on all wards.
