SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Yeovil - TERM TIME ONLY About the role As SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for creating and following the caring and nurturing environment set out by the school. Work with students in 1-1 and on a small group basis. Working together with the Class Teacher and a team of experienced support staff to develop an inclusive education program for all children. Full-time role to begin January with the possibility to become permanent for the right SEN Learning Support Assistant. Requirements To be considered for the role of SEND Learning Support Assistant you will: Be able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check. Relevant experience in a school or care setting Be patient and calm in stressful situations. Have a passion for supporting vulnerable children. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. If you have no experience working with adults and young people with additional needs, we can offer free training.
