Centre for Assessment (CfA) have a great opportunity for an Assessor Development & Performance Officer.
The role will Co-ordinate Centre for Assessment’s (CfA) Assessor and Auditor resource, including the recruitment, development and performance management strategies to ensure that CfA’s certification supply chain is fit for current and future purposes.
CfA is a leading UKAS-accredited certification body specialising in providing assessment, certification and training services to thousands of clients both nationally and internationally. With over 20 years’ experience in the assessment and certification industry, CfA work in partnership with a highly skilled team of auditors and assessors to provide a client-focused, value-adding service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate and participate in the recruitment, selection, induction and training of new and established assessors to meet current and future business needs for CfA’s Certification Service.
* Support the organisation, design and delivery of business meetings, learning forums and training events to support the development and continuous improvement of our assessor pool.
* Manage the performance of allocated assessors, providing coaching and mentoring support and using data to highlight trends and address individual and group development needs in line with CfA’s performance management strategy.
* Working with the guidance of the Technical Team to maintain records for all assessors carrying out UKAS Accredited Services.
* Co-ordinate the investigation of dissatisfaction expressed by Certifications service clients through feedback questionnaires to identify and address client service improvements and performance issues.
* Maintain and monitor CfA’s resource capacity to meet the demand of the Certification service’s new business sales, existing client retention, and Technical Advice delivery.
* Support the Certification service’s Business Development, Customer Service and Technical teams in the timely (re)allocation of assessors to new and existing clients with the aim of best matching competence to client needs.
* Liaise with the Marketing team to develop CfA’s communication approach with assessors.
* Act as the point of contact for our assessors to answer any queries and questions of a nontechnical nature.
* Attend targeted relevant events to assist in the development of our assessors and supports business growth.
* Act proactively to source and / or up-skill assessors to assist CfA’s Certification service in the delivery of new services.

* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines to support CfA’s UKAS Accreditation.
Skills and experience required:
* Experienced in managing subcontractors and associates.
* Have a professional approach and attitude.
* Project management experience.
* Ability to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously and effectively balance priorities.
* Well-developed IT skills.
