Position: Working Electrical Supervisor Location: Peterborough Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 per year Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Working Electrical Supervisor to join their established and expanding team in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician or an aspiring supervisor ready to take the next step in their career, working with a leading contractor in the industrial and commercial sectors. About the Role: Reporting directly to the Projects Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting and delivering installation projects for one of our client’s key customers within the manufacturing sector. Initially, you’ll work alongside installation engineers to gain vital site and process knowledge, with the role developing into a full supervisory position over time. Key Responsibilities: Lead teams of electricians on small to medium-sized projects. Organise materials, sub-contractors, and create job packs for engineers. Prepare risk assessments and maintain health and safety compliance. Deliver toolbox talks and attend site meetings. Support the Projects Manager with smooth project delivery, meeting timescales and budgets. Oversee and inspect works, ensuring quality standards are met. Record and forward inspection and testing results accurately. Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (e.g., C&G 2330, 2360, 2365). 18th Edition I.E.E. Wiring Regulations certification. C&G 2391 or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing. ECS Gold Card (preferred). IPAF and PASMA certifications (preferred). Previous supervisory experience in an industrial environment (highly desirable). Strong technical knowledge across various electrical disciplines. Full, clean UK Driving Licence. Package Includes: Competitive salary between £40,000 and £43,000, depending on experience. 40-hour working week (Monday to Friday) with overtime opportunities.
