Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing’s Maintenance division has been exclusively retained to manage a recruitment campaign for our client Orchid Orthopaedic based in Sheffield’s manufacturing community.

They currently have positions available for Multi-skilled Maintenance Technicians to support the site Operations team by maintaining key assets proactively and reactively to optimize performance and uptime.
While experience is advantageous, they are also seeking enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and develop their careers.
Role: Multi-skilled Maintenance Technicians
Key Responsibilities:
* Work safely, following guidance, training, and risk assessments
* Perform remedial work on plant and equipment
* Handle breakdowns, health and safety issues, and corrective works via CMMS
* Identify replacement parts as needed
* Collaborate with OEMs and third-party service providers
* Conduct proactive maintenance on equipment
* Perform scheduled and condition-based preventative maintenance from CMMS
* Review checklists and procedures for continuous improvement
Key Skills:
* Fault finding in electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
* Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
* Knowledge of drives, motors, inverters, etc.
* Understanding of temperature and process controllers
* Knowledge of safety circuits and components
* Mechanical diagnostics and repair skills

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday (Days, Afters, and Nights)
Salary: £48,824 + up to 5% bonus
