An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Warrington Recovery Team as a B6 Occupational Therapist on a 12 month fixed term/secondment basis, to help cover maternity leave.
We are a highly regarded, well led service that provides care, treatment and support to adults with significant mental health needs within the Borough of Warrington.
As part of an experienced and supportive MDT, you will undertake OT assessments, helping to meet the needs of our service users and liaising with partner agencies. You will also facilitate 1-1 and group activities with client groups, to promote independence, education and social inclusion.
Our office base is Wakefield House, in the centre of Warrington and our core hours are Mon-Fri 9 to 5.
Main duties of the job
1. Part of an MDT providing care, treatment and support to adults with significant mental health needs.
2. Undertake OT assessments of need with identified service users.
3. Facilitate 1-1 and group activities, to promote independence, education and social inclusion.
4. Work alongside the wider MDT to provide a holistic approach to care.
