About The Job Reporting to the Base Maintenance Engineering Manager, the Technical Services Engineer provides crucial technical support for base maintenance in Luton (H61) and Brussels (H40), offering solutions beyond standard manuals to ensure aircraft compliance and performance. Provide advanced technical support, with an avionics focus, for complex base maintenance tasks that extend beyond standard manuals and procedures. Develop and implement engineered solutions for intricate airframe, avionics, systems and engine defects, collaborating with OEMs and internal departments for approval. Evaluate airworthiness directives (AD) and service bulletins (SB) to address system and engine issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Support fleet maintenance activities, including man-hour compilation, data package creation, and modification engineering releases. Represent TUI Airways in meetings with manufacturers, airlines, and other stakeholders to enhance departmental procedures and technical processes. Manage work orders and repair schemes for additional maintenance requirements, providing ongoing technical follow-up during base maintenance activities. About You Hold or working towards a CAA/EASA A or B License (preferred but not essential) with a recognized Aircraft Engineering apprenticeship. 5 years of airline maintenance experience, with a deep understanding of aircraft systems relevant to TUI Group Airlines. Proficiency in OEM maintenance manuals and engineering tools like AMM, CMM, IPC, WDM, and SWPM. Strong knowledge of aviation regulations including NAA, Part M, CAMO, and Part 145, ensuring compliance and safety standards.
