Job Overview
Provide comprehensive support to all secretarial and administrative support services to clinicians and their associated staff, following all relevant operational policies, procedures, and work practices, to ensure the timely processing of all patient-related information, including clinic letters, reports, referrals, appointments, etc., with the exclusion of rotas.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Provide comprehensive support to all secretarial and administrative support services to clinicians and their associated staff, following all relevant operational policies, procedures, and work practices, to ensure the timely processing of all patient-related information, including clinic letters, reports, referrals, appointments, etc., with the exclusion of rotas.
2. Provide cover in the absence of the secretarial team, with the exclusion of medical rotas.
3. Taking and typing minutes of meetings and typing of complex documents, discharges, clinic letters, reports, etc., for clinicians using appropriate technologies.
4. Support booking of procedures, including PET scans.

Essential Criteria
* GCSE (or equivalent) Maths at Grade C or above
* GCSE (or equivalent) English at Grade C or above
* Medical Terminology Qualification
* Experience of Audio Dictation
