Performance Insight Manager
Location: Within commutable distance of Durrington, Chatham, Horsham, Falmer OR Otterbourne, with a hybrid approach (WFH 3 to 2 days a week)

We’re looking for an analytical Performance Insight Manager to join Southern Water, helping us transform our operational performance. In this role, you’ll manage data reporting and performance metrics that are critical to our objectives and Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODIs) including Leakage, Interruptions to Supply, CMEX, and CRI. You'll work with teams across the business—from water network control to senior management—driving efficiencies and aligning processes to improve service delivery.
You'll lead a small team to analyse and report data, ensuring we learn from performance issues and implement changes that make a real impact. Your data-driven insights will support our strategy as we head into our ambitious AMP8 objectives, playing a key role in improving our reporting and operational workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement and improve business systems for efficient data analysis.
2. Drive operational improvements through lean practices and data insights.
3. Align performance reporting across the business, from front-line staff to senior leadership.
4. Support strategic objectives related to key performance indicators like ODIs.
What we’re looking for:
5. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend effective solutions.
6. Proven leadership experience and the ability to collaborate across teams.
7. Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and strong Excel skills.
8. Experience with Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODIs) and an understanding of water network operations, utility, or field operations sectors.
