Oakleaf is partnered with an established and growing insurance firm in their recruitment for an HR Shared Services Team Leader to join the function on a 9-12 month contract based out of their Bedford office soon to move to Milton Keynes on a hybrid working arrangement. This will be a busy and hands on role managing a small team, and supporting the ongoing transformation of the HR Shared Service function. Responsibilities: Provide an employee first seamless service through cyclical HR processes, effectively utilising Workday in line with SLAs and acting as a point of escalation for anything outside of process or policy. Support the development of a high performing team, through from onboarding, training, and ongoing performance reviews. Collaborate effectively with the HR centres of excellence, HRBP, HRIS, reward, change, payroll, learning and recruitment teams. Maintain accurate and legislative policy, process, letters, email templates and documentation as well as supporting with wider business projects to streamline processes for continuous improvement. Produce management information and analyse reports to manage workload, productivity, accuracy and overall team performance. Support the annual audit programme to ensure there is risk mitigation to the business. To be successful for this role you must be have previous Team Leader experience, playing a motivational role to develop and support a team to ensure they are high performing and business objectives are met. Experience in HR Shared Services in a fast moving and growing environment is essential, ideally within Financial or Professional services.
