Key Purpose of the Job:
The Recruitment Specialist will play a pivotal role in the growth of Trinity SCS’ workforce across the organisation, both in terms of existing service sites and new and upcoming services. Operating in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, you will be responsible for maximising organisational brand promotion and increasing our exposure to potential applicants in the Health and Social Care and Nursing Sectors.
Please note that this job will require travel across all Trinity Sites in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and to other venues to facilitate attendance at key events. (Mileage allowance will be applicable)
Key Performance Areas:
* Maximise and grow applications to assist Trinity SCS in increasing its workforce levels to meet current and existing service needs.
* Actively promote and champion Trinity SCS Values.
* Collaborate with HR Lead to understand staffing needs and develop a proactive strategy for maximum applicant engagement and audience exposure.
* Maintain candidate databases and track recruitment metrics, providing a report to the Senior Leadership Team.
* Promote Trinity SCS as an employer of choice ensuring that the company name and brand is visible and represents a first-choice employer proposition.
* Proactively source suitable candidates using the latest search and selection methodology for key roles.
* Maximise use of employee employment search engines to remain prominent in applicant searches.
* Achieve or exceed targets and KPIs, including candidates recruited, marketing techniques, and networking.
* Develop geographical plans per service to identify applicants/relevant audiences and establish links to local schools/colleges, Councils, and community networks.
* Identify key events in both NI and ROI relating to the Health & Social Care and Nursing Sectors and attend for networking and raising organisational profile.
* Attend jobs/careers fairs in all geographical areas to promote the Trinity SCS Brand and advertise vacancies.
* Review competitors in each geographical area to determine appropriate Marketing/PR interventions.
* Conduct research on competitor remuneration and salary packages to provide comparator analysis.
* Identify problem areas in attracting staff and establish proactive plans to overcome blockages.
* Review Trinity SCS Website and associated marketing and PR activity to improve upon our presentation to potential applicants.
Person Specification – Recruitment Specialist
Qualifications & Experience
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar recruitment role, responsible for growing a workforce through proactive applicant search strategies.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the recruitment of Health & Social Care / Clinical Staff.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Conversant in Social Media Platforms for marketing and PR regarding job vacancies.
* Competent in the use of employment search engines for maximising applicant return.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word & Outlook.
