About the Role
As Performance Manager, you'll instil a culture of continuous improvement and accountability to drive outstanding results from our centres and teams. You will lead the achievement of key contractual and business objectives, ensuring programmes such as pre-employment training, Multiply, and Skills Bootcamps deliver the best possible outcomes for learners and employers.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and inspire centre staff to deliver exceptional training and employment opportunities.
2. Set and monitor clear targets linked to the number of learners, quality, and achievement.
3. Hold one-to-one monthly performance reviews to support staff development.
4. Set a quarterly delivery plan to ensure alignment with local and industry needs and meet financial targets.
5. Ensure that all delivery meets the requirements of the awarding body in terms of quality standards.
6. Develop a pipeline of participants via engagement with Jobcentre Plus and other referring organisations.
7. Monitor referrals, achievement rates, and employment outcomes to meet key performance indicators.
8. Conduct compliance checks to ensure adherence to funding rules and minimise risks.
9. Share best practice across teams to maximise resources and learner outcomes.
10. Report on financial, quality, and performance metrics to senior management.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience in managing adult education and employability programmes.
2. Exceptional interpersonal and team management skills.
3. The ability to remain calm and focused in difficult situations.
4. Strong analytical skills, with a results-driven approach to meeting targets.
5. East Midlands-based, however applications may require travel across the region as required.
6. A willingness to work towards a Level 5 Management qualification if not already attained.
