Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Supply Desk is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position at a welcoming and inclusive school in Tring. Role Details:
* Full-time position supporting students with SEN in a primary school setting.
* Long-term role with potential career progression.
* Provide tailored support to meet the individual learning needs of students.
* Implement strategies to help students engage in learning and achieve personal and academic goals.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to student development.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN, such as Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
* Demonstrates patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and parents.
* A proactive and flexible approach to adapting to students' evolving needs.
* Holds a relevant qualification in education or SEN support (desirable but not essential).
* Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
