About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Team Member to join our team at Bainland Lodge Retreats.
As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food preparation and presentation, working closely with our Executive Chef to implement new menu ideas and promotions.
You will be expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining high standards of quality and safety while ensuring seamless service delivery to our guests.
We require a flexible and adaptable individual who can work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with colleagues and guests alike.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook fresh food to a high standard, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high expectations.
* Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver exceptional service and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
* Assist with food preparation, stock rotation, and completion of paperwork as required.
* Participate in menu planning and implementation, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure innovative and appealing dishes.
* Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
* Relevant qualification or experience in culinary or hospitality.
* Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a flexible approach.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
